Oprah Interviews  Kim  Kardashian
POINT OF VIEW:
I watch the full on interviews Oprah conducted with the entire Kardashian/Jenner family on OWN, but took a special interest in the conversation with Kim Kardashian – I wanted to know what a lot of people want to know (what’s going on in her mind). As always Oprah’s questions were on course, direct and to the point, directing her emphasis on what most of the world would ask given the opportunity to have a one-on-one.

In my view Kim was gracious, smart and as open and closed as expected.. I believe she was honest about her regrets and mistakes in life and her maturity in those instances. She’s truly a family oriented woman, appreciates her fans and has a brilliant way of using every opportunity, whether good or bad, as a stepping stone to gain even greater heights and success. She’s seemingly warm, inviting and all around nice – regardless of her public image, gossip and infamous tweets. Her private life was of a different matter. Although she tried to be as revealing as possible, she most definitely left many things to the imagination, undercover and hush hush.. and rightfully so, after all her life is her life and if she wasn’t in the spotlight – no one would care.

Overall I felt it was a good interview – one that has been long overdue and eye opening. The Kardashian/Jenner family is unmistakably unique, but just as regular as any other family with the highs.. lows.. otherwise.. and whatevers. I’ve learned I cant judge what I don’t know for sure and EVERYONE has skeleton in closets we would rather never have opened.. My hope is that with all her beauty, brains and business – personal and professional – she has a sense of faith, foundation and God, because when all else fails.. this is all that’s left.

“She has the grace of Vanessa [Williams], the timeless beauty of Lena [Horne], and the feistiness of Dorothy [Dandridge]. TOO CUTE!

If there's any one designer I absolutely LOVE... it's the most
Beautiful and  and  Classic

Carolina Herrera
Carolina Herrera and Carolina Adriana Herrera by Alexi Lubomirski -

Before her show, Mrs. Herrera shares what she's watching, reading and loving at the moment (could there be a trend towards the 20s and Cafe Society?)

A Book: "I'm reading several books right now, including The Paris Wife by Paul McLain. The book tells the story of Hadley Richardson, Ernest Hemingway's first wife and is based in the 20s, which is a fascinating  era. I am also reading Heart of the Night and The Coffee House.

A Movie: "The last movie I saw I loved was Midnight in Paris. Woody Allen did a fantastic job".

A Cafe: "At the moment, I love The Lambs Club in New York for lunch". I don't have a favorite cafe in the world because I seem ti have one in every country I visit.

When asked to described the aesthetic of her very first collection, in 1981, Carolina Herrera replied, “It’s my own style.” Decades later, that description still holds true. So what is Herrera's own personal look? Refined and international. it is perhaps best described as "ladylike" although tailoring plays a large role too. "I prefer clothes that are simple, well cut, but with one major extravagance", she told Vogue in 1987. "Something with sleeves with a skirt, but not too fussy or too flashy". Her signature is a crisp white shirt, often turned back at the cuffs; she is also likely to turn up to an evening gala in a white le smoking as in a floor-sweeping ball gown. "I have always loved trouser suits", she has said. "It's something I absolutely believe in for women..

TLL Magazine often attends "LAUNCH EVENTS"... This is where our Editor-N-Chief attends events hosted by women who own there own business and have a product benefiting the lifestyle of women..
Last night of Editor-N-Chief attended the "FLAT OUT - Step Into Comfort" Launch Event hosted by CEO and "Woman In Business"  Dawn Dickson - This event started out like the founder herself - CLASSY. We were escorted to a Luxury Penthouse located in mid-town Miami - over looking the Miami Waterway Skyline and treated to VIP delights like; Massages, Manicures - (with the hottest nail colors Miami is known for), a variety of Houderves from a staff of chefs and custom made drinks.. The vibe was exciting, friendly and supportive in Dawn's brand as attendees flocked to see her latest styles..
I WAS TOTALLY IMPRESSED!

PERSONAL REVIEW:
Within the brief conversation with Dawn, I sensed she is a business woman who knows her stuff.. Beautiful woman - she gracefully introduced me to her product and gifted me with an exclusive pair of RED BOTTOM - Leopard print Flats.. which are a girls best friend.. After a night of mingling and networking my feet were tired and exhausted -- I opened my flats, put them on and that was all she wrote.. They're stylish, very comfortable and the answer to the next best thing On-The-Go.. In my option.. Dawn hit home!

CONGRATULATIONS..
